Olympics Day

Today is Friday the 7th of September. We had our Olympics Day today.

My favourite part of the the day was;

when we made flags and got medals

making the pompoms for team USA

when we were doing the egg and spoon pentathlon

when we made our flags

getting my gold medal

when we raced in room 6

when we got our faces painted

when we did our dance

getting our gold medals

when we did the egg race

when we did the sports in room 2

when the school did special cheers


getting lollies

when NZ was doing their parade

when we did the opening ceremony

when I won a race

when the Australians did the chant

when we did the torch relay.

Little Red Riding Hood.

Here is Room 2's version of Little Red Riding Hood

Little Red Riding Hood

In the olden days Little Red Riding Hood was walking through the woods to see her Grandma.

Red Riding Hood’s mum said, “your grandma is not feeling well, go and take some flowers to her.”

The Wolf was talking to Little Red Riding Hood. Little Red Riding Hood said, “I am going to my grandma’s house.” “Oh!” said the Wolf.

Next the Wolf went in the cottage and got changed into grandma’s pyjamas. After that he got into her bed. Later on she heard a noise the Wolf appeared and said, “what brings a light girl to the woods?” The Wolf chased after Little Red Riding Hood.

 

Next a man came, his name was the Woodsman. He said, “don’t touch her!” So he killed the Wolf, so the Wolf would never get her again.

Little Red Riding Hood hugged the Woodsman and after that the Woodsman said, “you must go to see your grandma now.” She felt happy to be seeing her grandma.
